Remembering the year that was 2011
Two days from now 2011 will be bidding us adieu. As that day approaches, I can’t stop but remember how life has been. This year has been my best and my worst.
Logic House
I headed a computer org and helped transform its members from cry babies into someone the IT world can reckon with. The same org that has seen the ire of certain instructors (instrutors because I don’t see them qualified to be called profs). The same underground org that outdid the college’s official IT org. The same org that helped students out during finals.
From what was a small group it grew in membership and is now recruiting members from different schools.
Life
This year can be also dubbed as the year where the phrase “Find, be happy and lose it” greatly applies. I found you, I finally did.
The Dream
I did not file for graduation, I wasn’t part of the group that graduated this December. Though I was to receive the highest award fot CS majors, I didn’t take part in this year’s graduation. The event that also confirmed one instructor’s narrow mindedness and his minions stupidity. All I can say is, “You can keep your stupid ceremony and award. I can take on any of your so called best. And yes, I can teach this course better than you.”
San Jose State
Five words, “San Jose State or bust!”
I will be pursuing another degree possibly a degree in statistics or engineering.
Hopefully everything works out the way i planned it.
